Did some more digging... and I am leaning towards towards the BFGs. However, 235/40/17 may not be an option. Looks like 225/45/17 is where I will be most likely. After looking at the specs at the BFG home site, my rims are too narrow. by about an inch. Enough that I won't roll the dice on them working. 
Now that leads me to an upside then... I can get a set of BFG Drag Radials for racing. However, I think I will start with just the KDWs and invest in Hondata FlashPro this year. Maybe late in the year I can look at getting a set of drag radials.
